AFTRS is Australia’s Screen and Broadcast School, established to fuel and empower Australian creativity and storytelling. AFTRS is consistently rated as one of the top film Schools in the world.
We are looking for a talented Content Producer to join the Digital Content and Communications team within the Marketing division. You will play a pivotal role in how we showcase our School, our students and their work to the world.
As Content Producer you will be responsible for:
- Developing creative and high quality video, digital assets and collateral to promote the school via digital, social, out of home, cinema, and other channels
- Working with external videographers, designers, producers, editors, consultants and agencies to ensure quality creative executions with a consistent visual identity
- Managing the live streaming of events across social channels and the AFTRS website
SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
- Extensive experience as a professional video content producer in a creative or education environment including planning, overseeing, shooting and editing video and sound.
- Extensive experience in post-production – mixing, editing vision and sound; using full Adobe creative suite and other industry standard software.
- Familiarity with development applications using java script, and digital publishing including cms and word press platforms. Knowledge of, and experience with CSS.
- Experience in effective project coordination including proactively managing multiple and competing priorities, and trouble-shooting unexpected situations as they arise.
- A cooperative and team-oriented approach combined with a willingness to learn.
- Proven track record in capturing high quality fast turn-around photography.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Graphic design skills an advantage
- Basic animation skills an advantage
- Experience in live streaming

Salary: $66,481-$70,411 (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits package including 15.4% superannuation.
