This role is likely to include a wide range of media channels including Screens, Audio, Digital and Print. The role is to support the wider team around implementation planning and buying of media activity on behalf of a media agency and their clients and to deliver best practice within Amplifi as a Centre of Excellence. Often you will be required to work closely with an Investment Analyst to ensure campaigns go to market as they have been planned and delivery is in line with booked parameters.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Contribute to a high performing collaborative, agile and happy Amplifi team
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Australian media marketplace
  • Maintain a broad understanding of the industries in client portfolio
  • Develop strong working relationships with media owner sales reps and assistants
  • Maintain and use of advanced media buying metrics, media maths and terminologies
  • Use of MediaOceans’ BMD to load, manipulate, check and report on media bookings
  • Ensure correct application of data input taxonomy when loading digital campaigns
  • Act as SME in DCM, Google and MediaOceans, and maintain accreditation
  • Gain and maintain thorough understanding of and use of media industry tools and be proficient in buying and optimising a range of media cross platform including the negotiation of activity not covered by over-arching client deals
  • Understand and manage your clients’ performance metrics (e.g. ROI, CPA, ROAS, interaction rates, conversion rates, audience reach, frequency, general buying parameters, etc) and ensure you are working as part of a team to achieve them through effective buying & optimisation strategies
  • Provide recommendations to Media Investment Manager on effective buying and placement strategies based on audience and reach reporting
  • Support the Media Investment Manager in preparing client documents and presentations including but not limited to; final buys, media evaluations, detailed schedules, post campaign analysis & presentations, QBRs & Weekly WIP’s/Conference calls
  • Under the guidance of the Media Investment Manager, act as project coordinator for all media campaigns across your client base
  • Supervise and assist in coaching Media Investment Analysts, ensuring accuracy and quality of all work
  • Act as first level escalation point of contact for Media Investment Analysts
  • Oversee reconciliation of client invoices to campaigns loaded into MediaOceans’ BMD platform
