An Investment and Activation Manager is responsible for driving a strong investment outcome for their clients.  This is likely to include a wide range of media channels including Screens, Audio, Digital and Print. They have the responsibility for managing the campaign processes for placement and tracking, whilst keeping their media agency contacts up to date on media performance. They are also responsible for managing a team of Media Investment Executives and Analysts to deliver of best in class investment within Amplifi as a Centre of Excellence.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to a high performing, collaborative, agile and happy Amplifi team
• Good understanding of the Australian media marketplace
• Mentor and coach the team of Executives and Analysts across all facets of their roles – including the end to end process of campaign implementation including, campaign set up, buying, checking of IO’s, holdings, confirmations, accuracy of plans, invoicing, final buy / mid -campaign / post analysis
• Nurture strong working relationships with media owner sales representatives to drive best client outcomes
• Expert in media planning and buying metrics, media maths and terminologies
• Have an in-depth understanding of the industries in client portfolio
• A skilled negotiator and highly numerate with best in class negotiation skills
• Supports the Media Investment Director in the management of the relationship with the media agency and their clients for negotiation, implementation planning and investment
• Accountable for the management of relationships whilst ensuring that internal stakeholder relationships are fostered to produce the best possible outcomes for our clients and DAN
• Work closely with the channel planning team, taking part in ideation sessions and inputting to idea selection which feeds into channel selection and media planning approach
• Acts as the lead for campaign planning and implementation, negotiations and post campaign reporting, with support from the Media Investment Executive and guidance from the Media Investment Director; project manage media campaigns and coordinate resources accordingly
• Collaborate with the Media Investment Director to implement creative solutions from conception to completion; driving innovation
• Accountable for ensuring all campaign performance is achieved according to established client KPI’s, benchmarks or set targets
• Preparation and presentation of client documents and presentations including but not limited to; final buys, media evaluations, detailed schedules, post campaign analysis & presentations, QBRs, weekly WIP’s, Conference calls
• Ensure systems are in place to help the team respond to and resolve any short-falls in delivery, performance or account queries; highest quality delivery of financial accuracy and loading
• Act as an escalation point of contact for Media Investment Executives & Media Investment Analysts
• Maintain advanced knowledge & accreditation in all tools (media and financial)
• Oversee Paragon projects which relate to campaigns and clients, ensuring your team are promptly responding to any questions or issues whilst ensuring efficient and effective day to day operations
• Manage stakeholder expectations regarding workloads and deadlines across each stage of the planning and buying process
