Our On Demand team is seeking a Programming Assistant, reporting to the Programming Manager, who will provide Scheduling and Programming support in the preparation of On Demand & streaming content for Foxtel platforms and devices.
Your purpose
- Provide assistance in the programming & scheduling of the Platform’s Transactional and Subscription on demand content
- Assist the Programmer with content choices and curation decisions
- Assist in creating IBMS offers for on demand content, entering & maintaining program metadata in IBMS.
- Monitor schedules, collections and menus, with a critical eye for quality issues.
- Maintain VOD & TVOD services for On Demand and Store TV from offer creation through to transcode, release, navigation tree curation and platform checks.
- Liaise with the materials, ingest and classifications departments to ensure upcoming programs and new acquisitions are available on station in line with established delivery deadlines.
Your capability
- Minimum of 1 year’s previous experience in a television environment
- A knowledge of TV & Movie content
- Exceptional eye for detail and ability to deliver accurate schedules
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills
