The role
As an experienced Studio Photographer, you will utilise your ability to make clients feel comfortable and have the confidence to direct the participants in the shoot.
The role entails shooting glamour and boudoir style photography, family groups and pet shoots (if you have the ancient skill of dog whispering, you can utilise this as well!).
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a photography studio
- Experience using professional photographic equipment including SLR cameras and studio flash equipment
- Experience photographing people, pets and children, an interest in photographing women in Glamour/Boudoir style
About you
- Experience in Studio photography - this is an absolute MUST for this role
- Someone who is a ‘people-person’
- Ability to build rapport with new clients and help them feel at-ease quickly
- Willing to follow a shot-list and to learn our proven system
- Must be open to feedback and strive for continual improvement
- Comfortable directing individuals and groups of people of all ages in the studio environment
- Able to handle potential time pressure and requirements to capture certain shots
- A love of learning
Hours will be rostered according to our bookings and you may be required from 8.30am. Some shifts will start later in the day and may go through to 7.00pm (including weekends).
