We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Account Manager, to work with for one of Australia’s largest Supermarket chains, driving positive outcomes from data insights and trend analysis. The growth you deliver will directly support our Clients strategy and growth.

This is a rare opportunity to support a Client of this reputation and size - The position will be based at their Bella Vista office 3 days out of 5.

The role

To provide knowledge and understanding of numerous data sources, the FMCG and retail environment and our client’s business priorities. Develop a strong relationship with the client by offering actionable insights and deliverables.

Ensure effective usage of IRI services by:

·      Ensuring the service deliverables are provided to the client in full and on time as per the contracts in place

·      Providing guidance and training on IRI software, data measures and their application

·      Providing analysis and reports that influences the client’s tactical and strategic decisions

·      Maintaining an excellent knowledge of the IRI business and software, data measures and their application

·      Keeping up to date on the Client’s key business areas and issues from the Client’s perspective

·      Build and maintain a strong network of cross-functional relationships within the client’s business.

Your background:

  • Motivated, dynamic and driven to succeed
  • More than 3+ years work experience in FMCG or in a related agency role

·        Tertiary qualification in a commercial/business field (preferred)

  • Account Management

-        Executive strategies identified within account plan

-        Ensure compliance with terms of client contracts

-        Ensure an appropriate level of communication to manage client’s expectations.

  • Relationship Management

-        Develop a positive relationship with key contacts.

-        Improve usage of IRI solutions in the retailer’s Business

-        Manage client expectations

  • Ability to take a good, clear brief from the client that leads to delivery of insights that meet their business needs.
  • Deliver high quality analysis and interpretation.
