Alchemy is an independent manufacturer and fabricator based in Sydney, established in 2000.

Because of continued growth, Alchemy is seeking a talented, inspired Industrial Project Manager, who can hit the ground running. This is a fantastic opportunity for a thinking person with creative ability together with project management and client management experience.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Working with the support of the Project Manager, you will be responsible for your own projects, from concept or brief, while working alongside design through to production/manufacturing. You will also work closely with the sales and logistics teams as well as clients to take on input regarding the project at hand.  Experience in event project management, building or construction would greatly assist you in this role. Additional design skill would be seen as a bonus..

You will be a lateral thinker and not afraid to discuss ideas, while having the relevant skills to combined and integrate with the project team on a range of projects and sometimes technically complex creative productions.

We work in the area of Custom Build Brand Experiences - Experiential -  Trade Shows - Film & TV - Pop Up - Sets & Displays - Activations & Events.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A background in project management is essential

• Solid track record in client & brief management

• Translating concepts from well-considered production drawings and diagrams is critical to the role

• Job cost management

• Communication with other departments

• A knowledge of the manufacturing processes and materials used is required

• Able to interpret briefs quickly and work with the supporting departments to produce solutions for budgets and quotes.

• Able to present a portfolio of successful projects you have worked on

• A minimum of 5 years-experience

• Creative abilities, 2D or 3D CAD would be a bonus but not necessary
