The recently renamed School of Creative Industries brings together the University’s suite of creative programs and we invite you to join with us in shaping the future of the creative professions at a time of critical transformation in higher education.

The School is strongly engaged with industry, both with media and digital arts organisations and with cultural and collecting organisations, including key museum, gallery and theatre partners. Our strengths in research lead to innovation and excellence in teaching. We are number one in South Australia for research in cultural studies, linguistics, and journalism and professional writing, and our research in sociology is recognised as world-class.

Skills and Experience

We are seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Senior Lecturer: Screen Studies. You will play an integral part in developing, delivering and coordinating courses within the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs, contribute to the School’s research agenda and regularly engage with industry. You will join a dynamic, collegiate team with a strong track record of pedagogic delivery, industry engagement, internationally-regarded research and a commitment to student support, employability and social enterprise.

With a strong academic track record in both teaching and research, you will possess a background in Screen Studies, a PhD qualification, and a commitment to creating, fostering and enhancing national and international links with industry, business and community bodies to assist the advancement of the discipline.
