• Based within Zoos Victoria's central Communications team (working across our three zoos)
• Casual position, some weekend work may be required
• Exciting opportunity to create compelling visuals about the zoo's animals, people and highlight the extensive conservation work currently taking place

Zoos Victoria operates three landmark zoos, Healesville Sanctuary, Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo. Victoria's zoos are made up of passionate, energetic and driven employees committed to fighting wildlife extinction. Every person, from the extensive range of disciplines, plays an important role in helping the organisation realise its vision to become a world leading zoo-based conservation organisation.

The Photographer will create engaging photo stories across our three zoos to tell unique narratives - of our animals, people and conservation work. The role will focus on primarily wildlife photography production and will work closely with the Content Manager in creating visuals that speak to Zoos Victoria's brand narrative. The role will develop content for owned, earned and paid media channels.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of photography experience and will be able to creatively respond to briefs and develop engaging photo stories. They will be able to juggle multiple deadlines and work with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Wildlife Photography experience will be highly desired.
