Viacom International Media Networks Australia has a great opportunity for someone to join our crew as a Digital Programmer on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Commercial and Business Development Manager, and based in our Darlinghurst office, this role is responsible for ensuring content integration and availability across VIMN’s core television and digital partners including DTO, DTR, SVOD, EVOD and FVOD.

The key responsibilities of the Digital Programmer include:

• Curate and compile content schedules for external digital partners across all brands including MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and Nick Jr
• Procure rights and clearances for all digital content and ensure content use abides by rights secured
• Maintain a rights and clearances database for all deal constructs (including owned, transactional and subscription)
• Generate reports and utilise sales data to inform scheduling decisions
• Implement and maintain digital content pricing and windowing strategy
• Work alongside the Digital Media Account Executive to craft and implement promotional strategies across partners
• Work with the Commercial and Business Development Manager to curate content avails and schedules for new business deals

The successful candidate will have:

• 3 + years in a digital media environment
• Background in digital media scheduling preferred
• Other broadcast programming or scheduling experience also considered
• Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable (completion of secondary education required)
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
