BUSINESS ANALYST (S48)
BANKING / FINANCIAL SERVICES
12 MONTH ROLE
FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.
FinXL are looking to engage a mid level functional Business Analyst for business and consulting services for our high-profile financial services clients
The role will work across a portfolio or regulatory and compliance change ATO reporting initiatives within the Banking and Wealth Management businesses
As a Business Analyst you will conduct relevant BA activities, including but not limited to:
- Business Requirements
- Requirements Process Mapping
- Requirements Traceability Matrix
- Non Functional or Functional Requirements Documentation.
- Review of Functional Design documents and Test Plans and Test Cases for scope and adequacy to the detailed requirements.
- Completion of Legislative Traceability
- Contribute to Controls Traceability Matrix including key controls identification and highlighting impacts to processes and procedures and documenting escalation, exception and work-around process design.
- Support for the Change Team and Instructional Writers to facilitate implementation of the project changes to the impacted Business teams
- Support for the Design team, Asset teams and Testing to facilitate the creation of outputs that align to the business need & requirements.
Experience and Knowledge required
- 5+ years Business Analysis experience
- Experience in Banking or Finance industry (preferred)
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
- Understanding of superannuation regulations and superannuation industry advantageous
- Experience working on regulatory or compliance related projects a distinct advantage
