Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group specialises in creating superior and innovative branded hospitality concepts for discerning diners.

Due to business growth we are looking for a passionate and forward thinking IT Support Technician to become part of our driven and professional Sydney team.

The IT Support technician is responsible for technical Level 1 support and advice to users across multiple locations, platforms and technologies. Maintain and support information, technology and communications services.

The Role:

  • Being the first point of contact for users via the telephone/help desk software.
  • Ensure requests are lodged, implement corrective action and follow up escalated issues to ensure a successful resolution is achieved
  • Supporting hardware/software across various businesses
  • Provisioning new hardware/software to users and sites
  • Maintaining systems and documentation
  • Recording/maintaining asset and user information
  • Onsite support Australia wide

You:

  • Relevant Australian degree or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Work unsupervised and in team
  • Very strong knowledge in network environments (LAN & WAN, TCP/IP, desktops and servers), hardware and mobile devices
  • Experience with Server 2008/2012/2016
  • Minimum 2 years' equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Desirable exposure to Microsoft Server and Desktop technologies, Cisco
  • Hospitality management background is a benefit
  • Permanent full time working rights
  • Driver's License
