With a team that includes GIS, surveying and cloud IT experts, we add value by transforming geographic data into location intelligence to enhance asset management processes.

The Opportunity

To support our growing list of clients, we are looking for an experienced GIS Consultant, specialising in the Esri suite of technologies to join our team. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your technical and professional skills working in a variety of roles across a number of client projects.

You can expect this role to involve:

• Providing thought leadership and evangelism of GIS innovation to customers
• Pre-sales activities to support the growing location practice
• People leadership – internally and with clients
• Recommendations, business analysis, design and project management of solutions for asset intensive industries
• Preparing project documentation

The Person We're Looking For

We're looking for someone ready to apply their considerable GIS expertise with enthusiasm to the challenge of finding solutions for complex enterprise location problems. You will be able to demonstrate:

• A minimum of 5 years experience with certifications or industry qualifications being highly regarded.
• Knowledge of GIS concepts and industry trends
• Knowledge of Esri Server and Cloud technologies including deployment of web applications or customising components
• Experience in working with mobile solutions including ESRI or Trimble environments
• Experience in data migration and data workflow processing using FME or similar scripting tools
• Experience using ArcFM within a utilities environment would be highly regarded
• Experience in managing a team would be highly regarded

• Customer and stakeholder relationship finesse
• Effective problem solving and analysis skills
• Efficient management of time and prioritisation of tasks  

This position is open for either a full time permanent appointment or contracting arrangement. To be considered for this role, applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
