We’re searching for a Tableau Developer (12 month contract) to work on Front end development of interactive Tableau Dashboards. This is exciting time to join Foxtel and work on world class projects.
Your purpose

- Develop interactive Tableau Dashboards using Dashboard actions and filters for business users
- Present simple to understand visualisation which highlights areas for business action
- Work with UX designer to ensure understanding of business requirements for dashboard
- Collaborate with data engineers and ETL developers to plan data build for future dashboards or upgrades
- Prepare documentation of calculations used and glossaries for the Dashboards
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand business use of Dashboard
- Identify and secure support for business user testing group
- Plan and communicate stages of development and release of the Dashboard
- Engage with stakeholders for feedback throughout the development to iterate on design, content and usability
- Support in preparation of training materials for Dashboard releases
Your capability
-
- Experience in developing and deploying automated server based Dashboards
- Experience in data modelling and knowledge of performance efficiencies and indexing
- Experience in rolling out self-service Dashboards across enterprise
- Participation in agile and scrum preferred
- Very strong expertise in Tableau development with evidence of innovative approach to Dashboard design
- Proficient in SQL and automation techniques
- Excellent problem solving and abstract reasoning skills
