SENIOR PRODUCT OWNER
 
The Company
Work for an international, multi award-winning SaaS provider delivering to Enterprises and Governments worldwide.
The Role
As Senior Product Owner you will lead a small team who will be responsible for technical writing, UI/UX and release project management by providing strategy, support and coordination within an AGILE environment.
 
Responsibilities:

• Working alongside the VP of Global Marketing to provide Product management coordinator of the global product process
• As Product Owner, manage execution for a specific product from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life
• Work in an agile process to develop user stories and requirements while evaluating their potential and practicality by analysing market and user needs
• Serve as the central resource with design, development, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution
• Act as a user champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholders and align all development activity with business goals and priorities
• Manage the product backlog (grooming, prioritization and refinement), working day-to-day with the team to clarify requirements, balance business needs with technical requirements, and recommend alternative technical approaches to meet design requirements when needed
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and service on the development of product positioning, demo design, training courses, sales collateral, etc. to ensure that business objectives are achieved

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Product Management in SaaS/Enterprise/Cloud based products, familiarity with software products in lab environments a plus (5+ years)
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, I.T or computer science (preferred)
• Experience in driving product initiatives from conception to launch and ensuing iterations
• Demonstrable experience working in an agile product development environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams through influence
• Ability to work with global, highly-matrixed agile product teams
• Excellent written, oral, communication and interpersonal skills
• Stakeholder Management, Negotiation & Communication Skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, big-picture thinking
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of independence
