We are currently looking for a Security Engineer to join our team to provide ongoing support and resolution to incidents reported across our global cloud infrastructure. As an engineer you will work as part of a distributed team across Australia and USA and focus on:
  • Monitoring - Ensure the sites are configured, installed, tested and operational by performing necessary checks and responding to alerts
  • Support - Provide L3 support and investigate / identify the root cause of the incidents and problems and carry out repairs through to resolution.
  • Take full ownership of managing and resolving the incident
  • Analyse and escalate support calls accordingly
  • Perform and report on root cause of the incident, problem or event
  • Document the findings
  • Document the actions
  • Develop work around plans where required
  • Ensure action taken is compliant to standards and service level agreeements

As part of this team, you will be required to the required handover procedures for shift changes to ensure service continuity.  They complete and maintain any shift hand hover schedules.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience as a L3 Security Support Engineer or SOC Engineer / Analyst
  • Windows / Linux O/S
  • Qualys
  • Firewalls
  • Anti Virus
  • Anti Malware
  • Anti Spam
  • Perl / Python scripting
  • CyberArk (Or similar for IPAM)
  • Well versed with security hardening principles
  • Familiarity with Intrusion Detection Systems
