Cyber Security Consultant - Sydney - $140,000-$150,000 +Super

Opus are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant for an MSSP in Sydney CBD. The are looking for someone to provide proactive consultancy, root cause analysis and regular maintenance activities across a varied range of technologies working closely with vendors. Previous experience working for a consultancy or an MSP is preferable as there will be a lot of stakeholder management involved. This is a senior position and will involve training and mentoring so experience in this capacity before is needed.

Required experience/skills:

- Previous experience working within an MSP or consultancy
- Support of their clients through support triage, real time monitoring, handling incident tickets & proactively managing resolution SLAs
- Experience supporting vendors including Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Mimecast, Qualys, Zscaler, Velocloud, Symantec, Cylance
- Interacting closely with our clients, responding, diagnosing and troubleshooting problems whilst communicating professionally
- Experience with Splunk and Firemon highly regarded
- Providing accurate assessment, prioritisation and escalation of incidents and service requests
- Experience mentoring and coaching
