The Opportunity
Our Finance Transformation team have been busy working under the 'hood' of our financial systems to ensure we have a world-class platform to support our ever-growing business. As a result of deploying our new finance technology platform - Anaplan there is a need to bring additional systems capability into the team to support the solution moving forward.

The Planning Systems Analyst will be one of the primary contacts in supporting the Anaplan Planning solution at SEEK for both our internal users as well as our external implementation partner (Deloitte). One of the key responsibilities of this role will be to provide SEEK users with support around the end to end system processes, ensuring the platform remains highly available and all ongoing system fixes and enhancement requests are run in line with the governing Anaplan support model. Whilst being a dedicated member of our Group Applications team, day-to-day you will work closely with our Project lead with a long terms view of becoming an integral part of our Finance Centre of Excellence. Key Skills and Responsibilities
  • Enthusiastically support the SEEK Anaplan Planning users
  • Lead the Maintenance and Governance of the Anaplan Planning Solution
  • Anaplan Planning System Enhancements & Operational Improvement
  • Work closely with Deloitte our Anaplan implementation partner
  • Become Anaplan Certified and be our domain authority
  • Strong partner engagement and influencing skills as your outward focus will take you into the business daily
  • Act as our Anaplan ‘Product Manager’ and lead continuous improvements to craft our internal roadmap for Anaplan

How can I tell if this is for me?
Here are some key criteria for you to readily assess how your skills/experience fits with our role:
  • You're passionate about data, know systems and love and have a deep understanding of planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting work!
  • Strong SQL knowledge and commercial experience
  • You can apply systems thinking to the Anaplan platform
  • An ability to take key requirements from the business, going away ‘tinker’ with a design and successfully playback a solution to partners
  • You can break down systems and business problems quickly and design solutions that are fit for purpose
  • Expert knowledge of delivering finance reporting and insights initiatives in a growing organisation
  • Deep understanding of Business Intelligence, analytics and data modelling
  • Expert experience with analytical visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau will be highly regarded
  • People with experience in Hyperion, TM1 will also be considered.
  • You have demonstrated an aptitude for improving finance processes and information systems
  • Anaplan accreditation would be ideal, or similar accreditation obtained with other Planning solutions.
  • You have excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills to build robust working relationships and relate well to others
