We are currently looking for a Technical Writer for a large government department for an initial contract until 05.09.18 + potential extensions based in Brisbane CBD. This role is responsible for creating and updating the technical documentation within the Change, Release and Environment Team, with the following responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and professional technical and business documents
• Development of high-quality documents relating to
• Change Management
• Release Management
• Transport Management
• Environment Management
• Testing Management
• Stakeholder engagement to gather requirements for documents

Requirements: 
Your suitability for this role will be assessed against how you;

• Communicate with others to gather information and understanding of processes, policies and procedures from internal stakeholders to produce high-quality documentation.
• Work with minimal supervision to proactively manage workload to achieve deadlines and quality criteria.
• Demonstrated skills in reviewing and proofreading documentation with a close attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in information.
• Display strong computer skills in using applications such as Word, Excel and Visio.
• An understanding of ITIL and/or Agile terminology and concepts is highly desirable.
