About the Role
This role is responsible for performing a variety of data and reporting activities while utilising analytical and reporting skills across complex datasets.
This position will have a strong focus on pricing and airfare trends. In addition, this role will provide the opportunity to become familiar with a broad set of datasets and BI technologies as well as various business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analysis, including but not limited to pricing, destination and competitor analysis, within the air space
- Migrating existing reporting and analysis from excel to the Power BI platform
- Develop new and innovative Power BI solutions to support and propel our business growth
- Ad-hoc/BAU tasks as well as in-house projects and initiatives using our internal systems and databases.
About You
- Several years’ experience as a data and/or reporting analyst.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Transact SQL or similar.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Power BI and SSRS reporting.
- Working knowledge of data integration methods and tools (SSIS preferred).
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts and able to convey to audiences within a large organisation.
- Adept at report writing and presenting to audiences at all levels of a large organisation.
- Project management experience, managing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in requirements gathering and interpretation.
- Strong knowledge and experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship management and customer negotiation techniques.
- Ability to work autonomously within a team environment.
