One of Sydney's premier Government agencies is currently undertaking an automation transformation program across a number of their internal technology platforms. They subsequently have a requirement for a seasoned .Net Developer to come on board and play a key role in the first phase of the program which entails the enhancement of a busy public interfacing portal.
This will be an initial 2 month contract then will become a permanent role for the right candidate.
In this role you will be producing fully functional clean code that integrates back end data & a public interfacing Web Portal.
Required Skills & Education:
- Hands-on experience and strong knowledge of systems development methodologies in all aspects of the application systems development lifecycle.
- Full stack development experience in various languages including C#, ANSI SQL, ASP .NET, MVC web based, JavaScript, HTML & CSS.
- Hands-on experience working with MS SharePoint
- Experienced in Web Services/WebAPI Development
- Software & Cross Browser testing, with experience in TDD (Test::Unit)
- Knowledge in Microsoft Team Foundation Server
- Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
The successful incumbent will have excellent time management and communication skills, a pragmatic approach to problem solving and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously. A strong team playing approach and the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships is essential as is the ability to adhere to tight deadlines.
