Established for over 17 years, this vibrant Professional Services company currently has an opportunity for a Senior Systems / Project Engineer to join their team. With a focus on ensuring the delivery of reliable and efficient solutions, as well as placing the utmost importance on customer service, this organisation had established themselves as a well respected company in the industry. This, combined with their enviable work environment and culture, has ensured a low staff turnover so opportunities to join them do not arise very often!
This role will see the successful candidate quickly becoming a key member of the team as you work with some of the best people in the industry. The position will mainly focus on project work, including the installation, configuration and documentation of new hardware and systems for clients, in accordance with agreed timeframes and defined scopes of work. There will also be some BAU support, in the form of resolving escalated issues from the service desk. Technically, the role involves the deployment, migration and support of the following:
- PowerShell.
- MS Windows server.
- Exchange Server.
- Office365.
- SQL Server.
- Hyper-V and VMware.
- Networking - including routing, VLAN.
- Desktop support.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience working within a Microsoft environment and providing remote and onsite support - preferably in a managed services environment, working with multiple clients. You will also be exceptional communicator who enjoys liaising with clients and ensuring that the best possible service is delivered every time.
If you have the technologies covered and possess a strong business acumen, complimented with the ability to plan and see the 'big picture' we want to hear from you today. Any formal certifications will be highly regarded.
