Our Client, a large specialised Federal Government Department is seeking a Executive Assistant / Project Coordinator to work closely with Chief Information Officer, Solutions Architect and Technology Leaders to develop and document the ICT Strategic Plan.

The primary duties Executive Assistant / Project Coordinator of the will include:

  • Coordinate, participate and lead workshops and meetings, including all logistics (eg; booking meeting rooms, sending meeting invites, agenda preparation etc) and ensure discussions are captured and validated.
  • Developing the plan, prepare artefacts to facilitate engagement with internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertake high level research, horizon scanning and analysis to identify future ICT trends, related strategies, policy priorities and issues.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and provide robust and evidence based advice about strategic issues.
  • Translate technical information into simplified terms.
  • Develop all communication material, including visual diagrams and story boards to present the future ICT Strategy.
  • Write high level committee briefing papers.
  • Support the CIO in effectively defining the benefits and effort required to achieve the plan outcomes.

To be considered for this Executive Assistant / Project Coordinator you must possess:

  • Highly developed verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to write and design content to engage an audience.
  • Extensive experience using the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships, share information, work effectively and cooperatively with fellow team members and other business groups.
  • Ability to review, analyse and make quality decisions in consultation with key stakeholders.
