About the Role:
We are looking for someone who can work well with a small, close-knit team of unique individuals in the heart of Sydney. Someone with great written and oral communication skills that is able to work autonomously. The focus is to manage and improve our eCommerce websites, perfect UX and produce high quality, tested and working code with an overall goal of increasing online sales.
Responsibilities:
-Design, modify, develop, write, test and implement software relating to ecommerce using best practice
-Maintain and manage all ecommerce websites, domains, and hosting and ensure website functionality at all times
-Implement any digital marketing and tracking integrations to the eCommerce website
-Can keep abreast of the latest trends in IT and eCommerce and propose meaningful areas of opportunity
-Collaborate and support a small team of marketing specialists to deliver a quality e-commerce website and produce marketing content.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
-3+ years’ experience in a similar role
-Knows HTML and CSS well enough to make reliable, accessible websites on every screen size
-Has skills in writing modular, object-oriented PHP
-Is well acquainted with PHP Standards Recommendations (PSR)
-Has experience with database solutions and query languages, particularly MySQL
-Is user-focused and understands UX principles
-Loves creating beautiful, easy to use user interfaces
-Is “Agile" and able to learn new skills fast to keep up with the ever-changing frontend landscape
-Solid knowledge of Bitbucket and Adobe Creative Suite
-Understanding of how digital marketing analytics works including integration of tracking data to CRM with the use of Facebook pixel, google analytics, GTM et al
-Have worked in the past on eCommerce projects or other custom-built websites
