Come work at our growing Tech Company! We are a small team but like to have fun while we're working hard.
We have a need for someone to manage our infrastructure as well as be part of our service desk.
We will train you up on infrastructure but you need to know the basics. If you've worked with servers and been on the front line with customers then that's a great start. Got a home lab? Even better.
The ideal person for our team will:
- Be proactive!
- Think logically
- Ask questions and want to learn new technologies
- Have a sense of humour
- Be able to help manage infrastructure and want to learn more about it - VMware and Hyper-V hosts, Windows and Linux guests on our own infrastructure and AWS. You'll be helping to manage infrastructure at 4 of our data centres
- Be able to have a conversation with clients on both a technical and non-technical level
- Meet realistic deadlines on our Trello board
- Enjoy travelling interstate and potentially overseas when required
- Coordinate with staff and suppliers around Australia and in the USA
Bonus Round
- Have experience with backup software
- Have experience with automation/DevOps (Puppet/Ansible/Chef)
- In-depth Linux knowledge
- Experience coding
- Have a joke ready for our Friday morning meetings
