About the Role
Our client is seeking a full-time IT Network Engineer, to not only positively represent their organisation, but to also assist their expanding client base. You will be working with varying businesses (50-250 users) by helping to develop innovative solutions and taking a long-term interest in the health of their IT departments. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients, proactively resolving issues and offering solutions. The role requires a high level of technical knowledge and the need to seek out and learn new technologies or new releases of existing products.
  
Key responsibilities will include:

• Support small to medium corporate organisations
• Act as an Account Manager for allocated clients
• Communicate via telephone and in person with clients
• Provide remote and onsite support as required
• Update in-house systems with all interactions with clients
• Work cohesively with a close-knit team of peers
• Advise clients on technological directions
• Work with on-ground and in-the-cloud based solutions
• Investigate upgraded or new technologies

To be successful for this role you must have the following:

• At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
• Experience or knowledge of the following:
  • Office 365 Migrations
  • Azure / AWS
  • HyperV / VMWare
  • SAN Hardware
  • VPN / Switching / VLANs / Voip
  • MS Windows Server / Exchage Server
  • Veeam / StorageCraft
• Must have exceptional customer service skills and have the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
• Must be a ‘people person’ with a friendly and courteous manner
• Must have the ability to deal with all kinds of people
• Must be willing to learn and possess a positive attitude
• Must have high level of spoken/written English grammar skills
• Must be willing to work as part of a team
• Requires own car and current licence
