The Organisation:

FourQuarters are currently working with a leading enterprise organisation.
  
Growing rapidly, this organisation has an urgent requirement for a Senior Security Specialist to help define and align the future security strategy to changing environmental and industry standards.

The Role:

The purpose of the Information Security Specialist involves protecting the information technology systems including the network, infrastructure, assets, industry data, financial and other critical electronic information.
  
At a high level your function will include:

• Accurately mapping out the existing architecture with the support of other key technical stakeholders
• Working with internal teams and external vendors to understand current business needs and design solutions to meet these needs
• Ensuring that current and future technology align with and empower the various business units, taking into account cost, scalability, and sustainability
• Drive the application of emerging security technologies 
• Engage in constructive debate regarding the positive and negatives of various technical solutions, ensuring that relevant stakeholders understand the possible capabilities of each option
• Operational element – Incident response, triage, security breaches
• Risk Analysis and Mitigation

Key environment you’ll be exposed to & manage:

• Perimeter security appliances, routing & switching, server administration
• Firewall policy management
• Windows servers (AD/DNS/IAS and Exchange)
• Wireless authentication (PEAP, Radius, TACACS)
• Network monitoring (Syslog & SNMP)

Bonus:

• CISCO Prime ISE
• Security Certifications – CISSP, CISM, CISA etc
• ITIL

About You:

Due to the nature of the role you must be able to demonstrate a long history of hitting the ground running in a Senior Security Role.
  
Your influencing skills will be strong along with an established list of successful end to end security solutions – From inception, to architecture to continued operational support.
