Position Description
Working in Kytec's Service team, the Senior Voice engineer is responsible for the management and support of Voice and Video infrastructure based on Cisco Communications Manager. Technologies include UCM, CCX, CCE, TPS, Collaboration Edge and Telepresence as well as new technologies such as Cisco Spark.
Responsibilities
The Cisco Voice Engineer is responsible for:
- Administration, deployment, implementation and management of voice, video and collaboration infrastructure based on Cisco Communications Manager
- To be responsible for clear communication to key stakeholders at client sites.
- Deliver tasks in accordance with defined scope of works and in line with best practice methodology.
- Provide mentorship and an escalation point for more junior systems engineers
- Provide root cause analysis to ensure system stability is maintained
Skills
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- High level of technical expertise and the ability
- Proven ability to deliver in a fast paced environment
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment and learn new technologies quickly.
- Extensive experience in contact centre (CCX and/or CCE).
- Desire to continue to develop personally and professionally
