Primary purpose of the role

Our client, a large Government Department requires a Video Conferencing Support Officer to join their team.
 
The role will involve support that will enable end users to meet their business needs by providing professional, efficient, and timely support to the Video and telepresence network. Also provide Training and user documentation for Video Conferencing and enabling delivery of quality video and conferencing services to the whole department.

Essential requirements: 

• Demonstrated experience in supporting Video Conference systems or Audio Visual Equipment.
• Knowledge of Video Conference and collaboration systems; that may include running conference bridges, CISCO Jabber, Polycom real presence, SharePoint and Skype for Business.
• Experience in providing level 1 support in a Help Desk environment.
• Experience in writing user manuals, documentation and training videos.
• Knowledge of managing and maintaining websites and pages.
• Previous training experience in training users on the use of Video Conferencing equipment.
• Capacity and willingness, including current NSW Driver's license, travel to business sites throughout NSW, which may include overnight stays in regional/remote areas.
