Our large government client is seeing 2 x .NET Developers to deliver capabilities across 3 major steams of work web/Online Channel, Mobile channel and CRM Platform.
You will be working within the DevOps team on the Sitecore platform and expected to have solid experience as a software developer in .net MVC Development.
This is an initial 6 month contract based in Kew.
Responsibilities:
- Design, create and implement solutions using the MVC pattern
- Perform code reviews, bug fixing and dealing with production issues
- As a Developer, you are responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module
- You should be able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute your tasks
- You should be able to respond to technical queries / requests from team members and customers.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Able to work under minimal supervision to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in an agile / rapid development environment
- Able to develop professional relationships with key leaders and stakeholders to achieve Program’s objectives
- Excellent knowledge of system development lifecycle methodologies and working knowledge in Agile delivery, practices and SCRUM methodology
- Knowledge and experience of integration to legacy mainframe systems.
- Work within a team environment and possess skills to reason and articulate solution options and recommendations towards an agreed solution.
- Communication skills to present technical issues and solutions in clear business terms, in written, oral, presentation & meeting forums.
Must have:
- 5+ yrs of experience in ASP.NET MVC 5, Solid experience in Multi-Tier application
- 5+ years’ experience with MSSQL 2012
- 3 +Web Service API experience
- 2+ years’ experience with SSRS
- 2+ AWS experience
- 2+ years’ experience integrating with .net web services (XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST).
- A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures.
- 1+ years’ experience with GIT
- Very strong analytical skills
- Very good understanding of Solution Layers
