ProjectSource are currently working with a market leading utility with a global footprint to help find a talented Senior Business Analyst to join their team. The company have kicked off a number of IT transformations and you will be joining them to play a key role in the delivery of two key strategic projects.
1) You will roll out on board computers to a large fleet of trucks
2) End to end project to replace the current ERP for dispatch and distribution from JD Edwards to a new ERP
Our client has a large logistics and distribution flavour to their business and as such any exposure working in a similar industry is required.
Required skills and experience:
- Extensive demonstrated experience in business analysis (min 7 years) through projects and programs of work
- Experience in Dispatch and Distribution processes would be an advantage
- Experience in Manufacturing, Utilities or Logistics industries. Understanding of Delivery KPI measurement would be an added bonus (DIFOT)
- Excellent Business Analyst skills across project scoping, planning, execution and on-going support
- Ability to conduct detailed analysis of complex requirements and data
- Ability to assess solution proposals
- Business case development and RFI, RFP document preparation
- Excellent skills in requirements gathering, documentation and translation to other forms of project documentation (such as functional specifications or test scripts) in various formats suitable for intended audiences (e.g. sponsors, architects, developers and vendors)
- Excellent vendor liaison skills as well as an ability to elicit cooperation from stakeholders, colleagues and management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
