Client Details
This globally recognised organisation is at the forefront of their field of research and development, providing a variety of controlled-environment testing and analytical services to a range of industries. They are now in a position to drive forward with some exciting projects involving automation, APIs, microservices and cloud-based technologies.
Description
Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop both web and Windows based applications using the latest design patterns and techniques.
- Contribute towards a close-knit team environment with good communication, promoting knowledge sharing and learning new techniques and technologies.
- Participate in team discussions and work towards larger team goals - development projects across the team can range from enterprise line of business applications to client facing mobile apps.
Profile
Skills and experience required:
- Extensive experience programming and development web applications using C#, .NET, MVC, WebAPI, REST and SQL Server/T-SQL.
- Experience working with design patterns, preferably MVC, MVVM and IoC frameworks.
- Experience with Angular, Typescript and associated web frameworks.
- ORMs and NServiceBus (or similar).
- Experience using Telerik controls, specifically Kendo UI and other client side MVVM frameworks.
- Familiar and comfortable working with WCF and WPF - while this won't be a major part of your work, it remains a part of their core application and requires a good understanding of how they work.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure or other cloud based technologies would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, and ability to proactively share knowledge and seek out new learning opportunities.
