POMT is a Workplace Technology solutions company with offices nationwide.
We have an exciting new opportunity within our Melbourne team for a Project Manager working in our Project Management Office (PMO).
Who you are
We're looking for someone who has developed some initial technical experience within the industry. Either you have hands-on real world experience in the art of Project Management or potentially your are seeking to advance your current skills and enter Project Management arena.
You are both technical and process minded with a keen eye of detail and the ability to provide impeccable communication.
You will be familiar with solution integration (both physical and virtual) and have a passion for delivery, a desire to learn and to rapidly develop your own expertise.
You are innovative, ambitious and self-driven professional with the ability to provide first class customer service, engage with all POMT team members and drive forward our delivery capability.
Responsibilities
- Experienced in technology and audio visual Project Management
- Understanding of construction industry coordination requirements
- Maintain an understanding of AV and IT principles
- Strong team leader abilities
- Excellent customer service focus
- Ability to work under pressure and at all client levels
- Outstanding communication skills - clear, direct, detailed
- Independent work ethic to be able to work without close supervision
- Ability to work within a team with a positive attitude and to lead by example
- Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Abilty to drive Project delivery, implementation teams and Design Consultants
- Change, risk & issue management
- Attending internal and external project meetings and management of action items arising from these meetings
- Maintain project documentation
- Presentation of project reports
