The Company
Robert Half Technology are working alongside an established software organisation seeking a UX Designer to help out with several key projects critical for the business.
The Role
Reporting to the Creative Director, the purpose of the UI/UX Designer will work closely with the developers, BA’s and stakeholders to gather requirements and offer advise and expertise.
- Provide design solutions across various touchpoints (e.g. websites, mobile, apps).
- Champion excellent design and craft standards.
- Create style tiles, UI kits, mood boards and style guides.
- Deliver responsive and systematic designs through an agile methodology.
- Ideate and co-design with peers and stakeholders in a positive and collaborative manner.
- Present design work confidently to stakeholders, and build trusting relationships.
- Facilitate user testing and report results back to stakeholders.
- Share your knowledge with wider teams and mentor mid/junior designers.
Your Profile
This is a UX Designer role so it’s imperative that you have worked in a similar capacity and it would be ideal if you have had experience working on multiple web and mobile sites.
To succeed within this role you need to be able to demonstrate a high amount of experience in design but also have a thorough understanding of User Interface design experience.
Key Skills & Criteria:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- 5+ years within a dedicated digital design role (agency or client-side).
- An outstanding portfolio showcasing conceptual, forward thinking design and a proven ability to roll out your design onto various platforms.
- Exceptional design aesthetics with UI folio to demonstrate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong experience across Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and InVision.
- Prototyping experience using Principle, Framer or similar.
- Proficient in user-centred design methodologies and design thinking.
And ideally you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Some experience with content management systems (preferably Sitecore)
- Basic HTML and CSS skills
