We are looking for a Planning & Operations Analyst to work with one of the leading innovative global organisations that influences the future of connected cars, IoT, autonomous driving and smart cities.

Based in Melbourne, you'll be part of The Planning and Central Operations team for Oceania. You will observe a lot of data, opinions, etc. and distil that down to clear reporting and direction for different stakeholders. You'll have strong communication skills and an ability to influence others.

You'll be responsible:

  • Managing delivery of defined product areas and operational activities. Translating Product Management requirements into execution plans, forecasting budget and resource needs, and leveraging continuously-evolving content creation technologies and processes
  • Planning, prioritising and monitoring execution of work within LMO, Global Content Operations and Data Acquisition and Community teams, communicating a clear vision of the required outcomes
  • Actively understanding the state of defined products, and the impact of new processes and data acquisition upon those products
  • Implementing effective communication and information sharing. Participating in and hosting regular meetings with Regional and Sub-Regional teams, along with maintaining operational reviews with senior leaders
  • Contributing to the map maintenance strategy, including sub-regional drive and data acquisition planning and identifying improvement opportunities in maintenance practices, data coverage and/or completeness
  • Effectively participating in key initiatives and programs as assigned across the sub-region and interface with direct manager on objective, timing and budget. Tracking and reporting on program effort
  • Developing, reviewing, approving documentation for processes and technology
  • Troubleshooting problems and issues within areas of responsibility particularly in technology management, processes, planning and training


What you'll have:

  • You are tech enthusiastic who embrace the business's culture and values
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 5+ years of relevant planning, customer management or project management experience
  • Experience with JIRA and performing an Agile "Product Owner" role
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with different audiences and stakeholders
  • Strong ability to investigate, challenge and compile information, and consolidate into a summary or proposal
  • Ability to view and interpret spatial data and have some experience in a GIS role.
  • Ability to operate with self-initiative and solve problem in dynamic situations
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity
