The role of Senior Network Engineer (provisioning) performs a critical role within the NEC Network Services Team; as a Level 3 engineer this role is essential in the consistent and high quality design and delivery of complex network solutions to NEC customers.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Implementing moderate to complex customer network changes
- Creating detailed design documentation of moderate to complex solutions
- Providing assistance to Architecture teams on defining high level designs for customer solutions
Experience required:
- Indepth hands on experience in deploying and supporting complex data and wireless solutions
- Extensive experience in working within a Project Management Framework
- Experience using and understanding of troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate to a diverse audience.
- Working within a well-defined ITIL process framework and Foundation certification desirable
Qualifications desired:
- Completion of relevant certifications such as: CCIE Routing and Switching, CCNP Data Centre, CCNP Wireless, CCNP Voice
- Bachelor of IT (Networks), Bachelor of Engineering (Telecommunications & Networking) or equivalent.
