An exciting opportunity has become available for an IT Operations Manager to lead, develop and mentor our IT Operations team in the Australasian region. The position reports to the regional IT Director.
Major responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage a team that consists of IT Service Desk, Application Support, Infrastructure and IT Administration.
- Implement best practice processes and procedures to manage BAU environment (e.g. ITIL).
- Drive operational reporting and service performance improvements of key team metrics.
- Oversee the delivery of team key projects and activities to ensure they are well planned, tracked and completed on time and within budget.
- Develop a collaborative and engaged high performing team.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, peers and vendors to deliver effective and efficient service to the business.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT.
- 5+ years managing cross-functional technical teams.
- Proven experience in implementing and streamlining ITIL processes.
- Passionate about mentoring and developing your team to create a high performing culture.
- Proven ability to manage and juggle competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and rapport building skills with direct reports, managers and peers.
