Our client is looking for Service Desk Analyst with experience in Level 1 and Level 1.5 based in North Sydney.
 
6-12 months contract with a view to extend | Long term opportunity | Great career opportunity.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Providing 1st level IT technical support and support projects
  • Provide all technical support, on application and infrastructure
  • Check laptop behavior, diagnosis thoroughly and install application accordingly
  • Build a corporate image on laptop and Microsoft surface
  • iPhone and iPad set up via Mobile device management application Afaria
  • Provide support on Citrix, AD and SCCM issues
  • Ghost back up through ghost cast server
  • Check server status
  • IT set up for video conference and presentation in meeting room
  • Xerox printer and HP printer issues
  • WebEx support for arranging meeting overseas or externally
  • Data backup change tapes, run inventory, scratch and retire tape on the file server
  • User Initialization, orientation and termination
Key Skills required:
  • 2+ years of experience within a Helpdesk Analyst / Support position
  • Knowledge and experience using Windows 7/8.1/10, Office 2013/2016 Office 365, Active Directory and sharepoint.
  • Basic VMWare and basic Storage and Networking experience
  • Good knowledge across iPads, iPhones and other mobile devices
  • Supporting SAP environment –good to have
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience working in ITIL environments a plus
  • Proactive personality, willing to learn and grow in the role
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Outstanding Customer Service skills
  • Work within a global team environment
