About the Role
The Business Solutions Consultant is responsible for facilitating the design and delivery of IT strategy and in partnership with IT and the Business, is responsible for providing the technical and business understanding needed to develop and deliver successful innovation projects and technology solutions. This role will also drive continuous improvement to IT workflows, through innovation, automation and process.
Skills & Experience
You will be responsible for the following:
- Define and develop IT strategy and roadmap.
- Provide consulting services to develop and execute business ideas and strategies.
- Provide Business and IT advice, including technology research and trend analysis.
- Design, deliver and manage innovation projects.
- Develop Continuous Improvement frameworks, optimise delivery of IT services to the Business.
- Design, develop and maintain DevOps and Innovation principles and strategy.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of centres of excellence for DevOps and innovation methodologies.
- Improve user experience through tools, technologies, trust and people.
- Drive continuous improvement of tools and processes across the Technical Analysis & Test, Technology, and Development Teams.
- Standardise usage and governance of IT workflow and collaboration tools (E.g. Jira and Confluence).
- Provide training and end user support to IT Teams and Business Users in DevOps and Innovation best practices.
About You
- IT strategy development and execution; end to end
- BI or Data Analytics experience.
- Understanding of DevOps, Agile, Design Thinking and Lean methodologies.
- Knowledge of current digitisation and automation technology trends
- Ability to interpret complex subjects and foster collaborative approaches to problem solving.
- Exposure or experience in delivering innovation projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
