Project Manager/Coordinator

The role will work across the organisation and with key external stakeholders to drive the delivery of system improvement program strategies and reduce unwarranted clinical variation.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee all aspects of project development and implementation.
• Manage assigned clinical engagement portfolio of projects, clinician relationships and supporting activities in accordance with appropriate policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on project progress and performance, mitigate critical project risks and ensure the achievement of project milestones and objectives.
• Prepare reports, providing information in a form that best meets stakeholder and clinician needs to inform program development and decision making
• Manage project expenditure and prepare financial summary reports to ensure that programs and projects are delivered within budget.

Essential Requirements

• Literature review experience and PM Background skills are highly desirable.
• Research or Clinical background and an all rounder in project coordination
• Knowledge of relevant trends, issues, policies and practices across diverse portfolio of projects and an understanding of change management and quality improvement methodologies
• Understanding and experience in the health system and capacity to critically appraise research and interpret clinical and health data and information
• Relevant tertiary qualification and relevant understanding and experience working within the health system; in particular experience working with clinicians
