Bluefin are looking for a Linux Administrator for a large organisation here in the Melbourne CBD.
Ideally looking for somone who is available within 2 weeks. The role is a 6 month contract initially, with the liklihood of extension.
The Infrastructure Administrator resource would specifically fulfil the following roles and tasks:
- Help with simple NSO, Linux, Server access and other technical issues within the Model environments
- Linux admin - creating/removing users, providing access, running scheduled tasks, reviewing logs and raising faults with the team
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis for any issues that come up
- Liaise with teams to spin up new VMs and provision NSO on to them
- Liaise with Infra Architect to execute tasks
- Follow build guides and Install plans to deliver services to the team, NSO Templates, install NEDs, install Service Packages etc
- Manage the Model Dev/Test, SIT, Pre-Production environments
- Perform capacity management function
- Manage software version baseline(s) across all environments: NEDs, Service Packages, NSO software
- Spin up and spin down Docker containers as necessary
