Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the Senior DevOps / Release Engineer will ideally possess the following skill-set:
- A good blend of both development and infrastructure skills with a background in software development / DevOps engineer.
- Strong knowledge and experience in software design and development using .NET framework/core.
- Experience with enterprise relational DBMSs such as Oracle and/or MSSQL.
- Working knowledge of containerisation (Docker).
- Experience working as part of an Agile software delivery team.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and branching models.
- Proven ability working with teams in developing CI/CD capability.
- Experience with build & deploy tools such as TF Build, Bamboo, Teamcity, Octopus etc.
- Demonstrated expertise on both Windows and Linux platforms.
