We have a short term contract available for a WPS/SAS Programmer to work with one of our high profile clients based in Sydney CBD

Please see details of role requirements below;

• Joining several data sources together. Translate the work done in Excel into WPS (similar to SAS programming language) - They have already taken csv/excel files from various sources and done matching and manipulation to create a cleansed file that will then go into Excel for pivot tables reports to be distributed
• A previous employee has started this code in WPS and hence it is an extension of existing code
• Improve the WPS code to make it more automated to update each month including batch run functionality and exports of reconciliations
• Also some data mappings are coded in SAS but our client wants that more part in Excel and then called into SAS so mappings can be easily changed by non-SAS users
• Ideally the person would know General Insurance well and worked with Actuarial data - so things like earning patterns of transactions and matching claims to policies and policies having sub-risks are familiar concepts

This contract will be due to start early July and will last for approximately two weeks.
