We are recruiting for a National Logistics organisation based on the North side of Brisbane and looking for a contract IT Support Officer for an initial 10 week contract. They are seeking a proactive and self-motivated IT Support Officer to join their dynamic team. This role offers autonomy and the opportunity to continue to build your experience in supporting a multi site company.
We are looking at someone to start immediately. You will need top be experienced in dealing with Level 1 and 2 support and providing quality response as required.
About the Role:
Successful completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks as assigned by Manager
Achieve the quality, service, response and resolution performance targets as set by Manager
Provide frontline support for internal and external customers
Hardware procurement and setup
First level application support
Escalation to second level support or external vendors when required
Resolve helpdesk tickets and support requests both hardware and application related
Provide friendly telephone, email and face-to-face assistance to all customers (internal and external)
About you:
Customer-oriented
Extensive experience in IT first and & second line support for user issues ensuring SLA's are met
Strong knowledge of hardware and software applications
Ability to follow processes and procedures
Experience with PC builds and rebuilds
LAN/WAN Maintenance experience
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to self-manage, motivate and be proactive with tasks
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate with others outside of the IT industry.
