Progressive IT are on the lookout for a Front-End/User Interface Developer for a leading health digital business based in North Sydney. This is an exciting time to join a company that takes great pride in changing people’s lives by making a positive impact on their health.

This is a newly created role that will see you take the lead on implementing the front-end experience on a brand new platform, whilst being exposed to the latest technologies.

About you:

• Self-starting, problem solver
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in team-based development projects

Requirements:

• 5+ years front-end development (responsive HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• 3+ years Bootstrap with SASS
• 3+ years JavaScript and frameworks such as jQuery
• 1+ year using the React framework
• 1+ year integrating with APIs
• Optimising page speed and size performance
• Exporting optimised assets from formats such as Sketch, Zeplin, Figma or Photoshop
• An eye for creative detail

Highly Desirable:

• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum methodology
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
• GitHub source control
• .Net integration
• CMS integration
• Jira
