About the Role...    
We are currently looking for a API Platform Engineer who will see you as an integral part of our growing Digital Transformation team and will be responsible for various tasks including but not limited to:   

• Design and implement shared toolkits and shared Java / J2EE components.
• Technical SME knowledge of integrations, custom data storage, and complex data manipulations.

About You...    
Ideally coming from a consulting or large corporate background you will hold a track record in delivering outstanding results and meeting critical time frames. 

• Deep knowledge and experience of the following tools and technologies:
  • Java API development: RESTful APIs, Microservices, JUnit
  • Linux (RHEL)
  • Axway (Gateway, Manager and Portal)
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • DevOps tools: GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, Artifactory, etc
  • Automated functional testing (Postman, SOAP UI, LISA)
• Self-motivated, driven and proactive
• Continuous improvement DNA
• A champion among peers (process participants) and a good listener
• Collaborative team player and effective communicator with IT stakeholders (analysts, developers, administrators, and project managers)
