A fabulous software development company in the Melbourne CBD is looking for a .NET developer to join their team for a 6 month + contract.
Job Description:
Support upcoming and existing Production Engineering Projects
Business application design, development, testing, implementation, documentation and support
Take ownership of assigned software development projects to ensure completion with high level of customer satisfaction
Work directly with Engineers to thoroughly understand related business processes and define application use cases
Work with business analysts and software development lead to prioritize projects and drive high quality and customer satisfaction
Create technical specifications and design documents
Follow all appropriate design, development and testing specifications
Give and receive feedback among our team of software developers to share best practices and continuously improve quality
Train other Engineers on usage of new web applications
Required Qualifications:
Expert level knowledge in developing .NET applications
Expert level knowledge designing relational databases
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability and desire to learn new technologies and support the continuous improvement of the team’s processes and capabilities
Proficient in the following: ASP.NET
Proficient in MS (Excel, ACCESS) & Visual Basic Coding
Willing to take on new and undefined projects and own through completion
Ability to work on multiple overlapping projects as an individual and on project teams
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Must be prepared to show examples of previously developed systems/applications
