- medium to large ICT projects ($5M+)
- 12 month contract + option to extend for 6 - 12 months
- Experience in Agile or other iterative deployment project management methodologi
The contractor will be a Project Manager working as part of the Digital Capability and Delivery Team. The main focus of this roll will be the management of a variety of ICT projects, some requiring full time management and some only require part time management. As this is the case, flexibility is required as the successful candidate may be requested to run a number of smaller projects concurrently.
The Project Manager may need to manage a mixture of internal and external staff and will be required to follow our methodology, use our system tools and submit regular reporting on time every fortnight.
Technical Requirements
The projects will be managed under Digital Capability and Delivery Team methodology and duties of the position will include but are not limited to:
- Developing Project Plans and Budgets;
- Providing mandatory monthly status reports with a high attention to detail;
- Maintain project budgets and forward resource allocations; and
- Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and senior management.
Essential Criteria
- Extensive experience in managing projects to meet cost, time, quality, business requirements and client satisfaction;
- Demonstrated experience as a project manager on medium to large ICT projects;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, senior management and project team members;
- Demonstrated ability in managing a mix of internal and external technical and non technical staff; and
- Demonstrated experience working in an environment where regular reporting is required.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in application development and deployment projects;
- Project Management qualifications;
- Experience in Agile or other iterative deployment project management methodologies;
- Experience with Oracle Customer Experience and related technologies; and
- Experience in Energy Retail, Distribution or related services industry would be highly regarded.
