Full Stack Java Developer - Global Software Vendor

As an absolute market leader in their field, this software vendor has been growing year on year on a global scale due to their strong portfolio of solutions. This organisation is only 10 years old, have over 1000 employees, help over 80,000+ customers and have been recognised by Gartner as a leader in their space. Due to growth, they now require a Senior Software Engineer with Core Java skills to join their world class technical team.
 
Role & Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing enhancements and new features to their products
• Ongoing quality improvement within their enterprise solutions
• Investigation, debugging and resolution of customer issues
• Work on challenging problems, write high quality code and deliver world class solutions.
• Design back-end reporting systems and dashboards
• Responsible for the design, development, testing and documentation of solutions
• Participate in design review sessions and peer code review

Required Experience & Skills

• Computer Science degree or related qualification
• Strong Java/J2EE experience essential
• Web Service technologies including protocols like: SOAP, JSON Strong SQL database experience
• Previous experience working with hibernate
• SQL experience
• Experience with development in multiple OS’s
• Debugging complex issues
• Customer facing experience (this role may have as much as 20% customer interaction)
