Partnering with this well known Queensland Government organisation I am looking for an experienced Test Manager to work with a small but highly motivated team to deliver a new enterprise management system throughout the entire life cycle of the project.

This position works closely with the Project Manager, Scrum Master, the software vendor to manage the entire project from scoping, requirements gathering, build, testing and implementation.

About the role:

• Prepare and deliver a testing framework, strategy and plan for the entire project;
• Develop an overarching test strategy for the project aligned with the Information Technology, Application and business procedures. The strategy should provide detailed information about how the project will ensure visibility, traceability and control of the testing process to deliver high-quality software and solution for the business;
• Prepare detailed test schedule and obtain agreement from stakeholders;
• Preparation of test scenarios, test cases, test scripts entry and exit criteria, defect reporting and management to SME’s and testers;
• Coach testers, managers and supervisors on required testing;
• Schedule test resources ensuring representation across key stakeholder groups;
• Co-ordinate and work with stakeholders and vendors on test requirements and testing execution;
• Lead system, integration and regression testing and any associated activities of such as defect logging and management, within established frameworks, strategies, standards, methodologies and policies;
• Standardise testing approaches and tools across the project and develop strategies to achieve a high level of testing maturity;
• Monitor, evaluate and report testing progress, risks and issues to key stakeholders
• Contribute to an effective and focused teamwork by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of team members within the testing team while working collaboratively to achieve outcomes with a commitment to quality deliverables;
• Leading Integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover testing and technical acceptance testing;
• Ensure entry and exit criteria are met for all testing; and
• Contribute to the identification and mitigation of risks and issues.

To be successful in this position, you must be able to deomonstrate previous projects where you have led the testing function within an Agile enviornment, including;

• Develop detailed documentation which may include:
• Project test plan and overview;
• Testing resource plan;
• System Test Plan;
• Integration Test Plan;
• Integration Test Summary Report;
• User Acceptance Test Plan;
• User Acceptance Test Summary Report;
• Test data strategy;
• Testing communications plan;
• Data acquisition strategy;
• Requirements acceptance strategy;
• Strategies for testing integration, security, quality, performance, user acceptance and release procedures; and
• Work with business SMEs and testers to create and review test plan, testing material and resources.
